We’re excited to announce the installation of Jule’s cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and EV fast chargers at Longo’s Winston Churchill location! This installation marks another step toward expanding EV charging infrastructure in convenient, everyday locations, enabling drivers to power up their vehicles while they shop.
This new location is situated near our flagship site at Longo’s Oakville, which features seven chargers and a 660kWh BESS system, showcasing the full potential of Jule’s advanced battery technology. Many customers in the Mississauga and Oakville area rely on this critical infrastructure, particularly those living in condos and townhouses where charging options are limited. By offering reliable, fast charging solutions, Jule is helping meet the growing demand in densely populated areas.
At Longo’s Winston Churchill, five Level 3 fast chargers are now operational, allowing EV drivers to recharge their vehicles in as little as 20 minutes. With the convenience of charging while shopping, this installation makes EV driving more accessible and practical.
As Alectra Utilities invests over $22 million in Mississauga for electricity grid upgrades to keep up with demand, Jule is proud to support these efforts by providing hundreds of kW's of continuous power without adding strain to the grid. Our BESS technology enables the deployment of fast chargers without requiring utility upgrades, reducing pressure on the local power infrastructure and ensuring more efficient, sustainable energy use.
