Jule is thrilled to announce the installation of its advanced charging system in Edgewater, NJ, providing high-speed charging to both residents and commuters traveling to and from New York City. The installation includes Level 3 – 200 kW fast chargers, which deliver optimal charging performance tailored to EV specifications.

Edgewater, located along the Hudson River, is a vibrant community known for its historical significance and modern attractions. The site's challenges, including limited grid infrastructure, make it an ideal location for Jule’s chargers powered by a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The existing electrical network struggles to meet the demand for fast charging, in this densely populated area, making it inconvenient for the local EV drivers.

This project was made possible through funding from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's It Pay$ to Plug In (SAGE) grant program, which supports the expansion of high-speed charging infrastructure across the state. The SAGE grant provided critical funding to cover the infrastructure upgrades essential for the installation, enabling Jule to overcome the area's existing electrical limitations. Through this partnership, we are able to drive forward New Jersey’s mission to support EV adoption, modernize local energy networks, and deliver much-needed charging resources for the Edgewater community and beyond.
