Jule's (operating as eCAMION USA Inc.) new charging station, located at Perkins in Gettysburg (US-30, Mile Marker 212), is one of twenty-nine projects selected across 19 counties in Pennsylvania. This initiative is a key component of the Shapiro Administration's commitment to combating climate change and providing Pennsylvanians with cleaner, safer, more affordable, and reliable transportation options.
The $20 million federal investment is a portion of the $171.5 million that PennDOT will distribute over five years for EV charging infrastructure, as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). This investment underscores Pennsylvania's role as a leader in the shift to electric transportation, with the state already having opened its first NEVI-funded charging station in December 2023.
The NEVI funds will support planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the charging sites, advancing Pennsylvania's vision for accessible and reliable EV infrastructure. Jule's inclusion in this program highlights its commitment to enhancing the EV charging experience and contributing to the state's environmental goals.
