Jule is excited to announce that it has been selected as one of the partners to develop a new electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Ohio, as part of the state's ongoing efforts to expand its EV infrastructure. This initiative is funded through the second round of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program, which will see nearly $16 million invested in installing 22 new EV fast-charging stations across the state.

The funding will support the installation of charging stations along key Ohio routes including interstates and U.S. routes, enhancing accessibility and convenience for EV drivers. Jule, alongside other selected private companies, will match the NEVI funding with additional private investment, contributing to the development of charging facilities equipped with at least four 150 kilowatt ports each, and providing essential amenities like restrooms and food services.
This development not only underscores Ohio’s commitment to leading in transportation innovation but also aligns with Jule’s mission to facilitate widespread adoption of electric vehicles by improving infrastructure. The new stations are expected to begin construction in late 2024 and continue into 2025, significantly enhancing Ohio’s capacity to support electric vehicles on its roadways.
