Jule has been awarded funding through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program to develop two fast-charging stations in North Carolina. The awarded locations are:
Elizabeth City: A station at Firehouse Subs on U.S. 17, with an award of $644,913.
Williamston: A station at Roses Plaza on U.S. 64/U.S. 17, also awarded $644,913.
These stations will enhance the state's EV infrastructure by providing reliable and efficient charging options along key corridors. Jule's battery-integrated fast-charging technology ensures high-speed charging while minimizing grid impact, facilitating a smoother transition to electric transportation.
The NEVI program, established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, aims to create a national network of 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations along designated alternative fuel corridors. North Carolina is set to receive up to $109 million over five years to support the development of its public EV charging network.
